Aric Krause, Ph.D., an 18-year veteran of teaching and leadership in higher education, is the new vice provost and dean of The Graduate School at University of Maryland University College. He began his new position at UMUC on June 3. Prior to UMUC, Krause was the dean of the Division of New Learning at Salt Lake City’s Westminster College.

New gift will provide scholarships for UMUC students pursuing graduate degrees in cybersecurity

University’s new agreement with Walgreens will offer company’s employees, their spouses and dependents access to higher education
Adelphi, Md.—University of Maryland University College (UMUC) announced today that it has signed an agreement with Walgreens, the nation’s largest drug store chain, to offer its employees, their spouses and dependents the opportunity to complete degrees or pursue higher education at UMUC. Through the agreement, employees, their spouses and dependents are eligible for a waiver of UMUC’s application fee and non-Maryland residents will receive a 25 percent discount on out-of-state tuition rates.
